Two
of the eBooks in The Real World Marketer package - the main The Real
World Marketer and Building an Internet Community - are security
enabled.
What does this mean?
1.) You must register the eBooks. Registrations MUST include the same email address, first and last name used when purchasing.
2.) You must be online to be able to access the eBooks.
If you are not online, the software cannot identify the eBook as a
registered version and therefore will not give you access. By operating
like this, the eBooks serve very much like an online delivery service,
the difference being that you are not subjected to bandwidth issues and
so can progress through the program a lot quicker.
3.) Refunds and chargebacks can be de-activated
so access is no longer possible. This is only fair. Those who are not
satisfied should not be entitled to retain the eBook and enjoy the same
benefits as satisfied buyers. [Because of the scope of the Sampler, we
suspect you would have done your evaluation fully and therefore will be
convinced before you purchase that this program delivers what you want.]
4.) Breaches of the distribution limitation (maximum of 3 copies per order) will automatically be de-activated. This
is to protect against piracy in particular, situations where the eBook
is packaged with other software programs. In instances where this is
identified we can easily switch off access to all pirated copies. The
price has been kept to a minimum in order to make this affordable for
everyone and so we ask all buyers to respect this by not distributing
the FULL eBook beyond this limit.
THERE IS NO DISTRIBUTION LIMITATION
ON THE FREE SAMPLER. Please feel free to pass that onto as many of your
colleagues as you wish.
So
why is this delivered in this format when it could all be delivered
online where similar and possibly tighter security can be applied?
Quite
simply, online delivery is alot more expensive and the authors primary
objective is to keep the price as low and affordable as possible.
A
secondary benefit is that future versions may include video and audio
files and these can be delivered with greater certainty (i.e. no
bandwidth issues) through this eBook format. All registered buyers will
be given access to updated versions as they become available at no
extra cost.
